Job summary

Patient First in Odenton, MD is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a part-time role. You will assist nurses and physicians, locate patients, obtain vital signs, triage, and help prepare patients for exams.

You will use the EMR system, order labs and imaging supplies, perform phlebotomy, sterilize instruments, and restock treatment areas. A Maryland CNA certification and at least one year of clinical experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required or in process.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Ability to hear pages, bells, and phone system; lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Locate patients and obtain accurate vital signs.
• Triage patients and assess medical condition.
• Prepare patients for physicals and medical treatment by Physicians and Nurses.
• Use EMR system and order lab/imaging supplies as directed.
• Assist Nurses and Physicians with patient care and treatments.
• Perform phlebotomy and lab duties as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness of treatment area and restock rooms.
