Job summary

Patient First Maryland Medical Group, P.L.L.C. in Odenton, MD is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support physicians and nurses in patient care.

You will triage patients, obtain vital signs, and assist during exams in a fast-paced clinic. Responsibilities include using the EMR system, drawing blood, sterilizing equipment, stocking treatment rooms, and maintaining a clean, safe environment per OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have CNA certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of clinical experience preferred.
• Ability to hear pages, bells, and phone system; CPR training advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Locate patients, triage, obtain accurate vital signs, and prepare for exams.
• Operate and understand the electronic medical record system.
• Order lab, x-ray, and supplies as directed.
• Notify clinicians when patient is ready for exam and relay questions.
• Assist nurses and physicians with patient care and treatment.
• Handle requests promptly and respectfully.
• Perform phlebotomy and basic lab duties as assigned.
• Sterilize instruments and restock treatment rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of the treatment area and adhere to OSHA guidelines.
• Attend staff meetings and support center operations.
