Job summary

Sun City Post Acute is seeking a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant to provide daily nursing care to residents in a courteous and professional manner. You will follow care plans, document observations, and work closely with nursing staff to support residents' needs.

The role requires compassionate patient care, attention to detail, and effective communication within a team. CPR is preferred, and CPR certification may be required in the future. Work is performed on-site in Sun City, AZ.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
• CPR certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent (10th grade mentioned in some docs) may be acceptable.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
• Ability to interact compassionately with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to residents as per care plan.
• Identify residents before assisting with treatments or meals.
• Record observations accurately and promptly.
• Report changes in condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality of information.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility.
• Escort and position residents safely.
• Assist with meals and monitor intake.
• Observe skin condition and report concerns to prevent breakdown.
• Prepare room and ensure supplies are available for shifts.
