Join our Skilled Nursing team to provide compassionate, hands-on care that promotes residents' comfort, safety, dignity and well-being. This role supports ADLs under a licensed nurse, with shift 6:30 AM to 2:45 PM; duties include charting, rounds, feeding assistance, and responding to call lights.

Qualifications

• Current California CNA license required.
• Proficient written and oral communication in English.
• High school diploma; experience with the elderly is desirable.
• Able to use the nursing department's electronic charting system.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing ADLs.
• Willingness to work beyond regular hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care for ADLs under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Follow facility policies and document timely and accurately.
• Conduct resident rounds as assigned and report changes to staff.
• Initiate corrective action and seek assistance when needed.
• Document incidents and participate in care planning with team.
• Assist with meals, mobility, transfers, and transportation to meals.
• Maintain infection control procedures and safety standards.
