Job summary

Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for acute rehab at the Lincoln campus. The 7p-7a, 12 hours/week position covers Saturdays and Sundays every other weekend with rotating holidays.

We offer a team-based environment focused on collaboration, hospitality, and patient-centered care. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, taking vitals, and supporting the RN and LPN in patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Successful completion of the 75-hour state approved nurse aide training program.
• Active Nebraska CNA certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Attend shift report at beginning and end of each shift to ensure good communication between nursing members.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living including dressing, feeding, bathing or other hygiene needs.
• Assists the bedside nurse with patient treatment and examinations.
• Takes vital signs, documents status and administers treatments as directed by the RN.
