Job summary

Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals in Lincoln, NE seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant for 36 hours per week, 7a-3p, with rotating weekends and holidays, in an Acute Rehabilitation unit.

You will support patients with activities of daily living, assist the bedside nurse, take vital signs, document status, and contribute to a caring, team-focused environment that promotes recovery and well-being.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Successful completion of the 75-hour state-approved nurse aide training program.
• Active Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in good standing in Nebraska.

Responsibilities

• Attend shift report at beginning and end of each shift to ensure good communication between nursing members.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living which may include dressing, feeding, bathing or any other hygiene needs.
• Assists the bedside nurse (RN or LPN) with patient treatment and examinations.
• Takes vital, documents status and gives treatment as directed by Registered Nurse.
• Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.
