Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living's River Ridge at Avon, located in Avon, Connecticut, is hiring a Part Time Certified Nursing Assistant for the 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift, with hourly rates starting at $19.00. This community offers a warm, home-like environment and the opportunity to deliver compassionate care to residents.

As a CNA, you will assist residents with activities of daily living, document care, and report changes to staff.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred.
• Experience working with residents with dementia is desired.

River Ridge at Avon is hiring Part Time 2nd, 3p-11p, Hourly rates starting at $19.00

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
