Job summary

A Plus Urgent Care in Temecula, CA is hiring a Part-Time Certified Medical Assistant. Responsibilities include patient intake, vital signs, venipuncture, and EMR documentation, with front desk coverage as needed. The role requires MA certification, CA Driver's license, and CPR/BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate required.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Experience with patient check-in and check-out per clinic protocol.
• General medical office procedures.
• Understand end of day cash balancing and charge reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing patients, measure vital signs, venipuncture as directed by the physician.
• Document in the Electronic Medical Record per IPM guidelines.
• Prepare treatment rooms for examination.
• Assist in covering the front desk as required.
• Attend mandatory meetings and work at least 2 major holidays.
• Schedule: Sat/Sun 8:45am-5:00pm; Mon/Fri 12:00pm-8:00pm.
