Job summary

The Park District of Oak Park is seeking a Clubhouse Site Supervisor for its afterschool program, Schools Out Days, and Holiday Break Camps. This part-time role emphasizes communication, organization, and risk management to create a safe, engaging environment for children aged 5–12.

Responsibilities include staff and program supervision, recordkeeping, supply purchases, and collaboration with parents and school staff.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Experience supervising youth programs and staff preferred.
• Ability to communicate with parents and school staff.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and risk management.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certification within 1 month of employment.

Responsibilities

• Organize, lead, and plan activities at The Clubhouse and camps.
• Maintain attendance records and safety checks.
• Manage supplies, budget, and procurement.
• Communicate with parents, staff, and supervisors.
• Develop age-appropriate activities for ages 5–12.
• Ensure a safe, fun environment and model professional conduct.
