Job summary

Fiddler's Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, New Jersey is seeking a Part Time Server Assistant to support servers and ensure Members enjoy quality service. This role involves helping with tasks, delivering bread and water, stocking stations, and maintaining a neat dining area.

Ideal candidates are 18+ and available days, nights, weekends and holidays. Prior service industry experience is helpful but not required, and team collaboration is essential to succeed in a busy club environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate and understand the predominant language of our Members and Guests
• Must be able to work days /nights, weekends and holidays
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be a team player; possess the ability to collaborate and work well with others
• Prior service industry experience preferred but not necessary

Responsibilities

• Assists servers in their tasks
• Assist in carrying food trays to tables
• Remove used dishes from tables; bring dishes to wash area
• Removed dirty linens and replace with clean linens
• Set tables with silverware, glassware, utensils, and other necessary items
• Deliver bread baskets/water to the tables as needed
• Stock servers' stations with supplies
• Collect trash from dining area and patio areas
• Dust/wipe chairs and tables before and after meals
• Keep ice buckets filled
• Possess ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Observe restaurant policies regarding uniform, hygiene and grooming
• Maintain a neat and clean work station during service
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
