Job summary

Fiddler's Elbow Golf And Country Club Inc is seeking a part-time Server Assistant to join the Fiddler’s Family in Bedminster, NJ. You will support servers, help carry trays, set and clear tables, and keep the dining area organized for members and guests.

The role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility for day/evening shifts, weekends and holidays, and maintaining a clean, professional dining environment. No prior service experience is required, but preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate and understand the predominant language of our Members and Guests.
• Must be able to work days /nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be a team player; possess the ability to collaborate and work well with others.
• Prior service industry experience preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assists servers in their tasks
• Assist in carrying food trays to tables
• Remove used dishes from tables; bring dishes to wash area
• Removed dirty linens and replace with clean linens
• Set tables with silverware, glassware, utensils, and other necessary items
• Deliver bread baskets/water to the tables as needed
• Stock servers' stations with supplies
• Collect trash from dining area and patio areas
• Dust/wipe chairs and tables before and after meals
• Keep ice buckets filled
• Possess ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Observe restaurant policies regarding uniform, hygiene and grooming
• Maintain a neat and clean work station during service
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
