Job summary

ExpertCare is seeking reliable caregivers to work 1:1 with recipients in their homes, providing compassionate support and guiding skill-building activities. You will also take clients into the community to help grow personal goals beyond the home environment.

Both full-time and part-time positions are available in Southeast Michigan. Ideal candidates are compassionate, patient, and dependable with strong communication skills, able to follow care plans, and capable of passing background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be compassionate, patient and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 care to recipients in their homes.
• Support, encourage and assist with skill-building activities.
• Accompany clients to community activities to support goals outside the home.
