Job summary

Stars Behavioral Health Group is seeking a Part-Time Clinical Supervisor for the Fresno CRT. The position involves 16 hours per week, with 8 hours on site in Fresno and 8 hours remote; days are negotiable.

The Clinical Supervisor will oversee the clinical program, supervise staff, and ensure program compliance. Required licensure in California (LMFT/LCSW/LPCC) or Psychology (Psy.D/Ph.D), a master's or doctoral degree in related fields, and two years of post-licensure experience; four years of

• Must be registered in California with the BBS (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) or the Board of Psychology (Psy.D / Ph.D).
• A master’s degree or PhD in Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from an accredited institution is required.
• Two years of post-licensure experience preferred.
• Four years of direct service experience with individuals with mental illness; supervisory experience preferred.

What you bring to SBHG:

• Licensure & Education: Must be registered in California with the BBS (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) or the Board of Psychology (Psy.D / Ph.D). A master’s degree or PhD in Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from an accredited institution is required. Two (2) years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
• Experience: Four (4) years of direct service experience working with individuals with mental illness (experience with adult populations preferred). Two (2) years of experience supervising direct care staff (experience in a healthcare setting preferred).
• Requirements: A valid California Driver’s License and eligibility to meet agency driving criteria is preferred.

The Clinical Supervisor has primary responsibility for overseeing the daily operations of the clinical program, including the supervision, training, and development of staff. The position ensures compliance with program policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements; provides ongoing staff education; fosters collaboration with county agencies and community partners; and coordinates resources to support continuity of care and successful client outcomes.

• Population Served (Capacity): Serving adults, ages 18-59
• Facility & Setting: 24/7 inpatient voluntary program, 16-bed facility
• Clinical Services (Core): Rehabilitation/recovery services, including substance use rehabilitation services
• Length of Stay: 30 day stay
• Skills & Services: Pre-vocational or vocational counseling and medication evaluation and support services
