Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a part-time Pharmacist in the Pharmacy Department. You will clinically evaluate medication orders, educate staff, and ensure accurate dispensing of medications and IV solutions in compliance with policies and regulations.

You will work under the Pharmacy Manager to supervise technicians and externs, participate in performance improvement, and maintain readiness for accreditation. Massachusetts licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in science/pharmacy or Pharm D from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Hospital experience including Unit Dose and IV Additives.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate therapeutic rationale of all medication orders and provide education as needed.
• Follow Clinical Pharmacy Protocols and monitor high-risk medications.
• Verify all aspects of medication orders and support performance improvement in the medication process.
• Educate medical, nursing, and pharmacy staff when new information arises.
• Distribute medications and IV solutions accurately and timely.
• Monitor inventory, handling controlled substances, and ensure documentation.
