Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required.
• Massachusetts pharmacist license by the hire date.
• Minimum 3 years of pharmacy practice experience or completion of a PGY1 residency.
• Experience in pharmacy supply chain preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical supply chain management, cost control, and inventory.
• Proficiency with Epic, Pyxis, and Omnicell required.
• Familiarity with Infor, Sentry, QuicksortRx, and Cencora platforms preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities.
• Willingness to learn new concepts and pursue a national supply chain certificate.

Responsibilities

• Manage pharmaceutical supply chain operations including inventory management and cost control.
• Lead drug shortage mitigation and manage drug shortage meetings.
• Negotiate contracts and maintain vendor relationships for timely deliveries.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure medication availability.
• Oversee automated dispensing systems for regulatory compliance and efficiency.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through data analysis and monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and drug safety requirements.
• Support training for staff on supply chain processes and systems.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the pharmacy supply chain team.
