Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college training preferred.
• 2-3 years pharmacy-related experience; 3+ years preferred.
• Must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with MA Board; national certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of customer service in person and by phone.
• Assist with medication preparation including packaging, repacking, and compounding.
• Ensure preparation complies with laws, regulations, accreditation standards, and policy.
• Deliver product to patient care areas while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain proficiency with technology such as Pyxis, robotics, barcoding, and related software.
• Maintain department operations, inventory control, and compliance with policies.
