Job summary

Baystate Health, home to Baystate Medical Center (BMC), seeks a Clinical Operations Supervisor to support nursing and non-nursing staff, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care across the hospital. The role emphasizes leadership, policy adherence, and collaboration with the Administrator-On-Call for emergencies.

The position is part-time with shifts including 4p-8p on weekdays and 8a-8:30p on weekends and holidays, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Massachusetts.
• Current American Heart Association CPR certification required.
• Three years of inpatient nursing practice with leadership/supervision experience.
• ACLS required.
• Associates degree in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing and non-nursing staff across the hospital and exercise authority in nursing practice.
• Ensure high-quality, safe patient care and promote best practices aligned with national patient safety goals.
• Monitor nursing-sensitive indicators and patient/family experiences and coordinate safe care transitions.
• Collaborate with the Administrator-On-Call (AOC) in emergencies and access additional resources as needed.
