Job summary

Dixie Tech is seeking a Nursing Assistant Adjunct Clinical Instructor to teach and supervise students during clinical hours at various locations in Utah. The role requires modeling professional behavior and delivering hands-on instruction to ensure students gain essential nursing skills.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of industry experience required.
• RN license active required.
• BSN preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong knowledge of Google Suite.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and support manual dexterity and following written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical training and instruction for Nursing Assistant students during clinical assignments.
• Deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
• Provide diverse learning materials and resources to meet students' needs.
• Communicate clear objectives and competencies for the program.
• Oversee student assignments and evaluate progress.
• Maintain student records and confidentiality.
• Orient, counsel, and advise students as needed.
• Contribute to course evaluation and uphold accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with team to develop/improve processes.
• Ensure respectful, inclusive treatment of all students and staff.
