Job summary

Chamberlain University in St. Louis, MO seeks a Part-Time Clinical Nursing Faculty to mentor nursing students in an inpatient clinical setting, bridging classroom learning with real-world patient care.

Teaching is onsite with a partnering clinical site, often involving 12-hour shifts, typically 7a–7p, for three to four days. You will contribute to program outcomes, supervise student practice, and provide timely feedback.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in Missouri.
• At least two years of instructional experience as a registered nurse in the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Implements the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service to the College, community, health system and profession.
• Plans clinical experiences for and provides direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students delivering nursing care to an individual or group of individuals.
• Evaluates and provides documented feedback to student on level of performance based on course objectives.
• Orients and maintains current knowledge related to agency/clinical policies, procedures, and expectations with the assistance of the agency/clinical personnel.
