Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in Missouri.
• Illinois RN license required to teach all courses.
• At least two years of professional nursing teaching or precepting experience in the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Plan clinical experiences for and provide direct supervision of nursing students in a clinical setting.
• Evaluate student performance and provide documented feedback based on course objectives.
• Maintain current knowledge of agency/clinical policies and procedures; ensure alignment with course requirements.
• Grade assignments, quizzes, exams, and clinical paperwork in a timely manner.
