Description

We are currently looking for energetic and dedicated instructors to join our Clinical Nursing Faculty in the Phoenix Metro Area. The primary responsibilities of the clinical faculty are to implement the curriculum, instruct students, and uphold the policies, procedures, goals, and objectives of the University. These are part-time positions working at assigned clinical locations in the Phoenix area, typically filling 1 or 2 shifts per week per semester based on availability.

Essential Functions

  • Accurately calculate and report student performance and attendance in a timely manner.
  • Maintain evidence of professional growth including memberships, continuing education, related practice experience, educational research, and awareness of current standards.
  • Attend staff meetings, graduation, and other university events.
  • Participate in quality improvement and professional development activities, providing evidence of participation.
  • Assist in compiling statistical data for accreditation and organizational needs.
  • Utilize instructional methods accommodating various learning styles.
  • Identify and remediate behavioral and academic deficiencies.
  • Suggest curriculum improvements with supportive data.
  • Maintain the integrity of curricular offerings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • RN license in Arizona (unencumbered).
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (required).
  • Master's degree in nursing (preferred).
  • 2-3 years of nursing experience (required).
  • 2-3 years of teaching experience (preferred).
