Job summary

Texas A&M University College of Nursing is seeking up to ten part-time Clinical Faculty to educate students at our Bryan, McAllen, and Round Rock campuses. The role focuses on clinical instruction and course development in a dynamic academic setting.

Applicants should have BSN with ongoing or completed master's coursework, and be eligible for a Texas RN/APRN license. Two+ years of nursing practice and prior clinical instruction are required or strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN and enrolled in a master's program with ≥50% coursework.
• Eligible for Texas RN and/or APRN license.
• Two+ years of nursing practice experience.
• Clinical instruction at bachelor’s level or higher.
• Experience with simulation in nursing education (preferred).
• Strong educator with 5+ years teaching at bachelor’s level (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Teach at clinical sites in Bryan, McAllen, and Round Rock campuses.
• Develop new courses aligned with curriculum and accreditation standards.
• Prepare up-to-date course materials and examinations.
• Supervise and evaluate clinical learning experiences for students.
• Advise and mentor students for academic success.
• Maintain posted office hours and collaborate with faculty peers.
