Texas A&M University College of Nursing invites applications for a full-time academic professional track (non-tenure) faculty position at our Bryan, Texas campus. The successful candidate will teach in undergraduate and graduate programs and contribute to scholarship, service, and program accreditation, with a 9-month appointment and possible summer contract.
Qualifications include a doctoral degree in nursing or related field with a graduate nursing degree, Texas RN/APRN eligibility, and at
Competenze
- Earned doctorate (DNP or PhD) in nursing or PhD in a related field with at least one graduate degree in nursing (e.g., MSN, MN, MS in Nursing)
- Candidate must be eligible for a Texas RN and/or APRN license depending upon credentials
- Experience providing didactic and clinical instruction at the baccalaureate level or higher
- Two or more years of nursing practice experience
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in nursing
- Preferred: use of simulation in nursing education
- Preferred: experience with mental health
- Preferred: experience with FNP, PMHNP, or AGACNP programs
- Professional certification in nursing specialty area
- Strong educator with 5+ years teaching at the baccalaureate or higher level
