Qualifications

• Earned doctorate (DNP or PhD) in nursing or PhD in a related field with at least one graduate degree in nursing.
• Eligible for Texas RN and/or APRN license depending on credentials
• Experience providing didactic and clinical instruction at the baccalaureate level or higher
• Two or more years of nursing practice experience
• Demonstrated clinical expertise in nursing

Responsibilities

• Teach in undergraduate and graduate programs, including didactic, clinical, and online instruction
• Contribute to scholarship in nursing education and clinical practice
• Engage in service activities within the College of Nursing and University committees
