Job summary

CALRegional in El Centro, CA is seeking a part-time Clinical Medical Assistant Skills Assistant to support students in an 8–10 week CMA program, with weekday mornings 9:00 am–1:00 pm, 2–3 days per week. You will assist the Lead Instructor, support skill labs, and help students achieve learning outcomes in a collaborative, professional setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a related field.
• Familiar with A&P, Medical Terminology, Basic Pharmacology and Medical Math.
• Front office and back office procedures (EKG, vitals, injections, etc.).
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Aid student learning through instruction and labs following a course outline.
• Assist in achieving student learning outcomes and maintain professional standards.
• Support the lead instructor and aid all required skill labs.
