Job summary

The Washoe County School District seeks a Clinical Aide to support student health services at Innovations High School. Under supervision of the School Nurse, you will provide first aid, assist with medications, manage health records, and help maintain a safe health office environment.

This part-time role (27.5 hrs/wk, 191 days) requires Heartsaver + AED CPR and First Aid certifications, with duties ranging from data entry to basic health screenings and family communication.

Qualifications

• CPR and first aid knowledge with ability to respond to medical emergencies.
• Ability to assist with physician-prescribed medications under Nurse supervision.
• Experience with maintaining student health records and health data entry.
• Familiarity with health policies and procedures in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and CPR in emergencies.
• Assist with medications and delegated nursing tasks.
• Support the School Nurse in screenings, records and health data management.
• Communicate health information to families and school staff as needed.
