Beth Israel Lahey Health’s Winchester Hospital seeks a part-time Clinical/Administrative Associate to support both clinical and administrative duties on the patient care unit. The role requires CNA or nursing student with clinical rotation, plus basic computer skills and strong communication.

Responsibilities include patient care tasks, vital signs, EKGs, and chart maintenance, with vaccination against influenza as a condition of employment.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have or be: Certified Nursing Assistant; nursing student with completion of one medical-surgical clinical rotation; three months clinical care experience; graduate of Winchester Hospital’s Clinical Associate Training Program.

Mansioni

• Provide both clinical and administrative assistance on the unit.
• Perform basic procedures to ensure patient care, comfort and safety; assist with ADL, ambulation, bed making, transporting patients; collect/label/transport specimens; obtain vital signs; perform EKGs.
• Welcome and orient patients, families, and visitors to the environment.
• Provide administrative support for the unit to allow staff to focus on patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical charts and necessary forms; copy and fax paperwork to expedite care among hospital departments and external sources.
