Job summary

Lewis County Hospital District No. 1 is hiring an Environmental Services Technician (Part-time) for Mossyrock Clinic.

The role focuses on keeping patient care areas clean and sanitary, including housekeeping, laundry and related tasks, following established procedures and safety standards. Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms, bathrooms, and recovery areas; handling laundry duties; and adhering to the district’s core values and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping standards and safe cleaning procedures
• Laundry duties including sorting, washing and folding linens
• Safety standards and reporting unsafe conditions to facilities leadership
• Teamwork and willingness to learn and follow procedures

Responsibilities

• Maintain housekeeping standards using detergents/germicides, wet dusting and cleaning rooms
• Perform laundry duties: sort, wash and dry linens, fold and store clean items
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions to Director of Facilities/Support Services
• Clean bathrooms, patient rooms, surgery and recovery areas following proper procedures
