Job summary

Kingman Regional Medical Center is seeking a part-time Environmental Services Technician for various shifts. You will perform cleaning, sanitizing, and waste handling to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for patients and staff.

Expect duties across patient rooms, bathrooms, and public areas, with emphasis on infection prevention and safety protocols. The role requires reliability, ability to follow instructions, and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned Environmental Services duties following policies and standards.
• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, bathrooms, clinical areas, public areas, and equipment.
• Resets areas after cleaning to maintain a safe, clean environment for patients and staff.
• Follows standard and transmission-based precautions and proper hand hygiene.
• Wears PPE and handles waste and soiled materials safely.
• Uses cleaning and laundry products according to safety data sheets and procedures.
• Monitors areas for cleanliness, safety concerns, and supply needs, reporting issues to leadership.
• Completes required logs and records accurately and timely.
• Participates in meetings, training, and process improvements.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support department operations.
• Collects, removes, and disposes of trash and biohazard waste per guidelines.
• Operates and maintains EVS, laundry, and floor care equipment safely.
