Job summary

Teton County's Recreation Center is seeking a part-time Recreation Leader for the Climbing Gym. You will supervise and lead daily activities, ensure participant safety, and help with program delivery, equipment checks, and class support.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, up to 1 year in recreation or youth work, and CPR/First Aid certification. A climbing/belay background is preferred, with weekend and evening availability common.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Up to 1 year of experience in recreation programs or working with children.
• CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead day-to-day operations of recreation programs and activities; assemble supplies.
• Take attendance and contact absentees as needed.
• Enforce safety procedures and disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Assist with facility setup, cleanup, and sanitation.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to visitors and staff.
