Job summary

St. Patrick Center is seeking a Client Services Monitor to join the Operations team at the Tucker location. The monitor will observe and evaluate daily pedestrian traffic and notify staff of disturbances at the Tucker Street entrance and Welcome Center Reception.

This is a part-time role with no benefits, up to 19 hours per week, and requires availability to work evenings and weekends. The position supports the center’s mission and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Assistants must de-escalate tense situations calmly and professionally.
• Provide a welcoming presence to visitors and clients seeking services.
• Demonstrate ability to interface with a diverse population and work within a team.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends is required.
• Minimum education: high school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct individuals to entrances such as volunteers, visitors and those seeking services.
• Use de-escalation techniques to defuse volatile persons on agency property.
• Assist staff in responding to Red Folder calls at Welcome Center Entrance and other areas.
• Call 911 for emergencies when necessary.
• Provide a welcoming presence to visitors and clients.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance.
• Check-in each morning with the CSO Manager for daily activities.
• Provide intake triage as needed.
• Complete agency Incident Reports as needed.
