Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy and laboratory specimen collections per age appropriate standards.
• Provides post-phlebotomy patient care and documentation.
• Identifies patient needs and communicates results to staff as appropriate.
• Maintains accuracy in labeling and processing specimens per protocols.
• Procures specimens from diverse patient groups including infants to elderly.
• Ensures safety practices and adheres to hospital policies and regulatory standards.
