Beitzel Corporation in Grantsville, MD is seeking a part-time cleaning person to keep our facilities clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Shifts run 4:30 PM – 9:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work, totaling about 20–30 hours weekly for a steady schedule and the satisfaction of maintaining a safe, tidy environment.

You will perform routine cleaning duties, replenish supplies, and uphold hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Empty and replace waste bins and transport waste to collection points.
• Sweep floors with brushes or dust-control mops.
• Mop floors with wet or damp mops.
• Vacuum carpeted areas and spot-clean carpets.
• Dust and wipe furniture, window sills, and surfaces.
• Replenish soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
• Clean toilets, urinals, sinks, baths and showers.

Part-Time Cleaning Person

You’ll play an important role in keeping our Grantsville, MD facilities clean, comfortable, and welcoming. You’ll be responsible for maintaining offices and living quarters during evening hours (typically 4:30 PM - 9:30 PM, Monday through Friday) with occasional weekend shifts as needed. With two to three weekly cleanings and approximately 20-30 hours of work per week, this position offers a steady schedule and the satisfaction of creating a safe, tidy environment for others. • Empty and replace waste bins, transporting waste material to designated collection points to maintain clean, hygienic spaces
• Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops
• Mopping floors with wet or damp mops.
• Suction cleaning carpeted areas and “spot” cleaning carpets
• Dust, damp wipe, wash or polish furniture, ledges, window sills, external surfaces of cupboards, radiators, shelves and fitments
• Replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels)
• Clean toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks, baths, and showers

Working Conditions

• Must be able to bend, reach overhead, and climb stairs
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs unassisted
• Must adhere and follow all health, safety and environmental standards
• High School Diploma is preferred
• 2+ years of relevant work history
• Ability to work independently
• Reliable transportation
• 2 or more professional references
