Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of the IU08 training program and LEA Classroom Monitor certificate.

Responsibilities

• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning appropriate to students.
• Supervise activities to ensure safety at all times.
• Take attendance in accordance with district procedures.
• Oversee delivery of pre-planned lessons and activities per teacher notes.
• Monitor students during silent study and independent learning.
• Maintain a neat, orderly classroom and manage materials.
• Report to school office at start and end of day and perform duties as assigned.
