Job summary

Dallas School District No. 2 is accepting applications for a part-time Educational Assistant at Lyle Elementary School.

Must be over 18 with a high school diploma or GED. Associate's degree or equivalent and two years' related experience preferred; completion of the Local Paraprofessional Assessment is required. The role supports classroom instruction and works with the teaching team at Lyle Elementary.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 and have a high school diploma/GED.
• Ability to deal empathetically with students and deliver instructional programs.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, and maintain confidentiality.
• Associate's degree or equivalent preferred; two years' related experience or training preferred; local paraprofessional assessment required.
• Must be able to work in a team and carry out instructional program in the teacher's absence.
