Minnesota Coaches LLC is seeking part-time School Bus Route and Charter Drivers to transport students and passengers safely on designated routes and charters. The role emphasizes excellent customer service and reliable operation of buses with clear communication to dispatchers.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, assisting passengers, maintaining records, and abiding by traffic laws. Training is provided, and there are opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in school bus driving is preferred but not required.
• Basic mechanical understanding for pre-trip inspections.
• Clear English communication; multilingual skills are a plus.
• Excellent customer service and report-writing abilities.
• Must be able to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate school bus routes and charters with a focus on timeliness and passenger safety.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Assist passengers during boarding and disembarking, including children and those with disabilities.
• Maintain accurate passenger counts, mileage, and incident records.
• Communicate route changes and passenger needs with dispatch and team members.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all passengers and respond to questions or concerns.
