Qualifications

• Ability to walk, stand, patrol and stay alert for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor church buildings, grounds and entrances during services, events and activities.
• Perform interior and exterior patrols to identify safety hazards and security concerns.
• Maintain a professional, approachable presence when assisting members, staff and volunteers.
• Control access to designated areas and ensure doors and facilities are secure.
• Respond to disturbances, emergencies or medical situations as needed.
• Contact church leadership or emergency services when necessary.
• Document incidents and report observations promptly to leadership.
• Assist with crowd flow and visitor direction during activities.
• Support evacuation or lockdown procedures as directed by leadership.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by church leadership.
