Job summary

Sagebrush Church is seeking a part-time Security Officer to provide safety and security services across multiple campuses and ministry locations. You will maintain a visible security presence, walk patrols, monitor systems, and respond to incidents to keep worship and ministry environments safe and welcoming.

You will collaborate with Security leadership, Facilities, ministry teams, and emergency responders, documenting incidents and supporting emergency preparedness and training initiatives.

Qualifications

• Maintains an active Christian faith in line with Staff Covenant.
• Must have valid driver's license and be able to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional security presence across the church campus during services, events, and activities.
• Promote safety and security for attendees, staff, volunteers, and facilities.
• Conduct routine interior and exterior security checks for fire hazards and safety concerns.
• Monitor building access, observe visitor activity, and assist individuals needing support.
• Respond to security calls, alarms, and emergencies; coordinate with responders.
• Prepare incident reports and security documentation.
• Serve as liaison with police, fire, and EMS during incidents.
• Participate in safety and security training programs for staff and volunteers.
