Job summary

Mentoring Alliance in Tyler, TX seeks a Christian After School Counselor to lead elementary enrichment activities after school and serve as a role model in the community.

This part-time, non-exempt position is approximately 17–20 hours per week, Monday–Friday 2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m., during the school year. CPR/First Aid certification and background checks are required, with Spanish-speaking ability valued.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age; High School Diploma or GED preferred and some post-secondary training highly preferred
• Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
• Legally allowed to work in the United States
• Have dependable transportation
• Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued
