Job summary

Lionheart Children's Academy in Murfreesboro, TN seeks an Assistant Teacher to support the classroom team in delivering Christ-centered care and developmentally appropriate instruction for children.

You will work under the Academy Leadership and with Lead Teachers to maintain a nurturing, safe environment reflecting Lionheart’s mission, values, and commitment to early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Safety, supervision, licensing compliance, CACFP and safe classroom practices.
• Curriculum support and classroom activity facilitation.
• Child engagement with nurturing, supportive interactions.
• Documentation support: attendance, routines, notes for Lead Teacher.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup, supervision, and facilitation of learning centers and routines.
• Partner with Lead Teacher for daily classroom operations and culture.
• Communicate with staff about needs and updates for children.
• Support other classrooms or academy-wide needs as requested.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and events.
