Right At School is hiring Educators to work directly with students at participating schools in Washington. You will lead activities, supervise students, support with homework, and help create a safe, structured environment during before/after school programs.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of child experience, strong communication, and reliable scheduling. On-site positions offer flexible AM/PM shifts and opportunities to gain real-world education experience while serving the community.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13.
• Comfortable leading groups of children in activities and games.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills with both children and adults.
• Reliable and punctual; able to commit to a consistent part-time schedule.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout a shift.

Responsabilités

• Greet and check in students at the start of each session; take attendance and maintain accurate records
• Plan and lead daily activities, games, and enrichment lessons appropriate for the age group you’re working with
• Facilitate homework time and support with academic tasks as needed
• Supervise students during free play, snack time, and transitions, ensuring a safe and structured environment
• Address minor conflicts or behavior issues using positive guidance techniques
• Communicate with parents/guardians at pick-up and drop-off regarding their child's day
• Report incidents, injuries, or safety concerns to your Program Manager or site lead promptly; log incident reports
• Set up and clean up program space and materials each day
• Attend brief daily team meetings to coordinate with other staff

As an Educator, you'll work directly with kids — leading activities, facilitating a safe and structured environment, and building relationships — while gaining valuable experience in education and child development. In short, your influence will shape kids’ futures, helping them develop the skills they need to thrive in school, at home, and beyond. Educator Pay Range: $18-20 per hour (based on education and experience) Schedule: Monday-Friday Split Shift, must be available for both shifts each day.

• Before School: Tues-Fri 6:30-9:30am, Mon 6:30am-10:30am
• After School: Mon-Fri 3:45-6pm
