Job summary

Respite Care of San Antonio is seeking a Part-Time Site Supervisor to oversee PDO and FDO programs, plus weekend collaborations as needed. You will supervise Direct Care Staff, assign duties, and coordinate with the Family Support Services Manager to maintain appropriate child-to-staff ratios and ensure curriculum implementation for weekend services and camps.

• Oversee Direct Care Staff for PDO/FDO and weekend collaborations.
• Coordinate with Family Support Services Manager to maintain proper child-to-staff ratios and assignments.
• Ensure curriculum is implemented for weekend services and camps.
• Plan and organize daily activities aligned with curriculum.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and respect for property at the location.
• Complete Developmental Checklists for weekend programs and camps.
• Submit purchase orders with approval and obtain items as approved.
• Provide weekly communication to the Family Support Services Manager for smooth operation.
• Maintain and decorate Camp rooms, FDO rooms and other collaboration sites.
• Maintain all student files, documentation, site protocols, and attendance records.
• Ensure timely completion of paperwork: time sheets, schedules, logs, incident reports, work orders.
• Report incidents and emergencies to the Family Support Services Manager.
• Set a positive example and mentor others regarding conduct, attitude, and attendance.
• Attend trainings as required to maintain Site Supervisor status.

Job description

Location:

• Oversee staff for day/night our services (Parents Day Out - PDO, Family Day Out - FDO, ) and other collaborations for weekend services as needed
• Supervision and delegation of responsibilities to Direct Care Staff for the above programs.
• Communicate effectively and efficiently with the Family Support Services Manager to ensure child to staff ratio for weekend services are adequate and efficient; create child & classroom assignments
• Ensure implementation of curriculum for weekend services (FDO&PDO), summer and holiday camps, and other collaborations
• Plan and organize Daily Activities in accordance with curriculum for weekend services (FDO&PDO), summer and holiday camps, and other collaborations
• Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, respect for property and items at Location.
• Completion of Developmental Checklists for weekend programs and summer camps
• Submit purchase orders with approval of Family Support Services Manager. Obtain items as approved.
• Communicate effectively and efficiently weekly to Family Support Services Manager to ensure smooth operation of weekend services, summer and holidays camps and external programs
• Maintain and decorate Camp rooms, FDO rooms and other external collaborations
• Maintain all student files, documentation, site protocols, and Procare attendance
• Ensuring proper and timely completion of paperwork such as time sheets, schedule, behavior logs, incident reports, work orders and supply requests
• Report all incidences and emergencies to Family Support Services Manager.
• Serve as a model and mentor for others, with specific emphasis on conduct, attitude, and attendance
• Attend trainings as required to maintain status as Site Supervisor
• Other duties as assigned.

Schedule: Part-Time - 24 hrs/week

Parents Day Out (PDO) - Monday & Wednesday: 8:30am-4:30pm

Family Day Out (FDO) - Saturday: 9am-4pm
