Job summary

University of Utah Farmington Health Center Program (FHC) partners with the Student Parent Support Center to hire qualified child care providers for their drop-in facility. Multiple openings and continuous hiring. Free public transportation pass included with employment.

This part-time position offers training and opportunities to work with campus families. Minimum qualifications include being at least 18 with a HS diploma or GED, ability to lift 10–50 lbs, and the capacity to communicate

Qualifications

• This is an entry-level position with training provided.
• Willing to obtain a food handlers permit, TB test, BCI background check, and first aid training within 60 days.
• Demonstrated human relations skills and ability to work with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in activities and tasks contributing to an orderly, clean environment.
• Support teacher planning and supervise activities for children.
• Meet with staff to plan a morning or afternoon small group activity.
• Supervise playground or indoor play as needed.
