Responsibilities
Maintain knowledge of and compliance with PA Department of Human Services regulations.
Supervise all children and remain physically present with your group at all times.
Plan and lead activities that support each child’s interests, talents, and learning pace.
Assist in developing and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum.
Engage with children positively in games, activities, and special programs.
Communicate daily with parents about their child’s experience.
Utilize positive disciplinary methods when necessary.
Complete administrative tasks including meal counts and incident reports.
Education
High school diploma + 30 credits in an education or human services field
High school diploma + 600+ hours of secondary training
High school diploma + 15 credits in an education or human services field + 1 year experience working with children
High school diploma + 2 years experience working with children
