Job summary

The Children's Network of Hillsborough is seeking a part-time Clinical Support Specialist to coordinate behavioral health referrals and support timely access to services for children involved in the dependency system. You will liaison among child welfare stakeholders, behavioral health providers, and community partners to promote coordinated care and smooth discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, human services, psychology, or related field.
• Knowledge of child welfare and behavioral health.
• Ability to coordinate services across multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor timeliness, coordination, and delivery of behavioral health services for children and families.
• Review CBHAs and other records to identify service needs and facilitate referrals.
• Ensure documentation is uploaded to FSFN and submitted to Children's Legal Services as required.
• Respond to inpatient behavioral health notifications and assist in discharge planning.
• Collaborate with CMOs, community partners, and service providers to remove barriers to access.
• Coordinate MDT staffings to determine levels of care and obtain authorizations when required.
• Maintain relationships with Medicaid behavioral health providers to improve communication and access to care.
• Monitor and respond to email communications daily and disseminate information to staff.
