Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is hiring a deli/kitchen associate to deliver friendly guest service, maintain product quality, and ensure sanitary conditions in the department. Pay starts at $13 per hour and commitment to guest satisfaction is core.

You will perform product prep, stocking, receiving, and serve guests, all while following safety standards and taking direction from supervision. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, engage guests, and work well with others.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.

• Able to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Able to read and understand information and directions.
• Knowledge of deli and chicken kitchen operations.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Effective communication and guest service/ selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Able to take direction from supervision.

Responsibilities

• Personally demonstrate superior guest service at all times.
• Ensure the quality of product for sale meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to Lowes Foods standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking and guest service as necessary to achieve standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Perform PA announcements.
