Job summary

Lowes Foods is seeking team members to provide exceptional guest service in our deli and chicken kitchen areas. You will ensure product quality, maintain sanitation and safety, and assist with product prep, receiving, stocking and guest service according to company standards.

The role requires willingness to learn multiple tasks, engage guests actively, and communicate effectively with team members. PA announcements are part of daily duties and flexibility is appreciated.

Pay starts at $15 / hour

Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality of product for sale meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to Lowes Foods standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking and guest service as necessary to achieve standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Perform PA announcements.

• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Knowledge of deli as well as chicken kitchen operations.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to effectively communicate with, and take direction from supervision.
