Job summary

CVHCare is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to support patients in the California home health setting. You will work under the supervision of a licensed clinician to provide skilled services and assist with daily activities, including vital checks, exercises, transfers, and light housekeeping.

Responsibilities include documenting observations, communicating effectively with clinicians, and delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience as a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)
• Minimum one year checking vitals and documenting on clinical charts
• Home Health Aide Training
• California CHHA Certification and CPR Certification
• General knowledge and understanding of clinical verbiage
• Strong attention to detail for chart documentation
• Excellent time management/calendaring and ability to deliver documentation timely
• Strong experience using computers and computer systems
• Experience using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Gmail Suite or other systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with skilled services and assistance with basic daily activities
• Check temperature, pulse and respiration rates
• Assist with exercises and prescribed routines
• Assist with getting in and out of bed, dressing, grooming, hygiene, feeding
• Assist with ambulatory transfers and light housekeeping
• Collaborate with Licensed/Certified Clinician under supervision
