Job summary
Millennium Healthcare seeks a compassionate Visiting Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to deliver in-home care across multiple Southern California counties. This per diem role supports patients requiring daily activities, medical needs, and emotional assistance, emphasizing safety, independence, and quality of life in the comfort of patients' homes.
The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and dedicated to making a positive impact in clients' lives, with valid HHA license and CPR
Qualifications
- Must meet the training requirements per State and Federal laws.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care.
- Self-directing with minimal supervision.
- Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and impaired.
- CPR certification required.
- Valid and active HHA license.
- Licensed driver with insured car.
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, and skin care.
- Provide basic in-home care to promote safety and independence.
- Assist with meals, feeding if needed, and hydration.
- Take vitals or assist with routine measurements as ordered.
- Assist with activities of daily living and comfort measures.
- Report changes to the supervising nurse and document care.
