Job summary

Graul's Market in Baltimore is seeking a Part-time Chef/Seafood Associate with hands-on experience in seafood prep and customer service. You will weigh, package, steam/cook, and restock seafood items while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

The role requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays and rotating Sundays, with day and afternoon shifts. A reliable transportation means is necessary for this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of cooking experience.
• Knowledge of seafood preparation and handling and food safety practices.
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook items from our prepared foods department according to recipes and quality standards.
• Assist customers at the seafood counter by weighing, packaging, steaming/cooking and replenishing seafood products while providing exceptional customer service.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and seafood department work areas in accordance with food safety and health regulations.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient daily operations and provide a high level of service to customers.
